Comprehensive review of your imaging history
Priors give radiologists the ability to compare findings in the current exam with information about the disease process from prior exams, allowing the doctor to be specific and confident in their diagnoses.
Having the same expert radiologist review all prior exams provides a complete analysis on the progression seen in your imaging and delivers a more accurate report along with a clearer picture for your medical team on treatment plan options.
UPLOAD YOUR MOST RECENT RADIOLOGY SCAN
To have a radiologist do a review on your disease progression, upload your most recent medical imaging scan. Your selected doctor will do a complete read of your first exam, then use the findings to examine previous imaging studies.
ADD PRIOR EXAMS FOR THE SAME ISSUE
Gather the radiology exams you had of importance for the same medical condition. Choose the prior exams add-on and upload each study you want the radiologist to review.
Once your selected radiologist completes their exam of your most recent study, they will examine each prior for progression of the findings they’ve reported and note changes and findings in the report.
INCLUDE PRIOR EXAM REPORTS
Most radiologists prefer to review what was reported in previous exams, so be sure to upload those completed reports as well with each prior you add.
Prior exam reports may include clinical details your selected radiologist in MDView would find useful to gain a better understanding of your condition.
ADD A SECOND OPINION CONSULTATION
Gaining new knowledge on complex medical conditions or disease progression can sometimes create more questions.
By having a single radiologist perform a complete analysis of your radiology imaging exams, they will have an expert understanding of your issue and can share deeper knowledge beyond your existing reports.
ONGOING DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW
Once your radiology second opinion with prior exam review is complete, upload future imaging exams and select your completed report as a prior for a continued expert review of your medical condition within your MDView account.
